If you are a diver that wants to be pampered and have the greatest diving experiences available, this trip is for you. In January 2022 we saw giant mantas, 21 feet across, on every dive. The schools of hammerheads were so abundant, counting them was nearly impossible. We saw Galapagos and silvertip sharks as well. The dolphin seemed to be following us everywhere we went. We could also hear the Humpbacks, and we were at the beginning of the whale season. You will be at the peak of whale season.

You must have completed 50 dives to go on this trip. If you are not an advanced diver you will be required to take a deep dive course on board.

• Socorro Island and the dive site Punta Tosca, in particular, is one of the only places in the world to swim with humpback whales. You’ll see several.

MANTA RAYS AT CABO PIERCE

• Socorro Island attracts a number of pelagic species, among them, are large groups of giant manta rays.

FRIENDLY DOLPHINS OF CABO PIERCE

• Rather than swim away, the dolphins of Socorro Island are known to curiously approach divers.

SCHOOLING HAMMERHEAD SHARKS

• Among the parade of pelagic species seen at Socorro Island are schools of hammerhead sharks.
