DAN Dive Insurance covers your health. Some insurance policies consider scuba a risky behavior and will not insure you. Some companies do not insure you when you leave the U.S. All insurance companies have limits on what they will pay. DAN picks up where they leave off. It is a small price to pay for peace of mind. In 15 years there has never been an accident on a Gay SCUBA Week trip. BUT, I always request that people cover their bases. DAN Trip Insurance covers your trip. If there is a storm that prevents you from traveling or diving you are covered. If you get sick while on the trip and cannot dive you are covered. If you get sick prior to your flight you are covered. There is almost always a cancellation on every trip. By the cutoff date I have committed your money to the dive destination and have to pay it. In addition, with the weather we have been having it is a smart idea to protect yourself.
